This is about a 30 minute drive, there are several get out & view the coast line spots along the way. This is one of my favorite aquariums- there has hardly been any people there when we’ve gone, it’s quite small but interesting and just when you start to say to yourself oh my gosh, are we done yet? You are! Then you can go to the little downtown Newport area & have lunch, highly recommend this restaurant: https://www.localocean.net

Wonderful tide pools at the end of the beach. If the tide is out, you can hike around the end to the secret beach on the other side.

Parks & Nature
This is fairly easy, not to long hike with fantastic views that starts right up the street from the house. Follow Logan Rd. to the end & look for a gate & the path - go around the gate & follow the path! If your not sure, just as someone & they’ll point you in the right direction.

The community center pool is fun - it’s quite large, has a water slide, a high dive and a rope swing, the kids love it, it’s very close & a few dollars/per person. They also have a rock climbing and basket ball courts. Go 45 minutes before the pool opens, climb the wall & then swim.
