Il Bolognese Pizzeria is one of the great pizza in this area which I would like to recommend. The space, a comfortable house in a leafy soi, is that ideal middle ground between bourgeois and casual, with its prominent pizza oven, large greenhouse, and more refined dining room to the side. You could go there by walking from the apartment and turn left at the Narathiwas Soi 7 (Soi Phra Phinit). Walk straight in the Soi, the restaurant is on the left hand side, opposite Mr. Kukrit heritage home. Open everyday from 11.30AM-14.30PM. and 17.30PM-23.00PM.

One of the world's most famous red-light districts, Patpong is where Thailand's Go-Go culture all started. It has even been immortalised in a James Bond chase-sequence. Its two parallel side-streets house dozens of neon-lit strip bars offering naughty shows and the famous pole-dancing entertainment. Alongside the adult entertainment is a sort of night market as the whole area teems with hawkers and humble stalls selling mostly tourist tat. How to get there: SkyTrain from Chong Nonsi (S3) to Sala Daeng Station (S2)
