J.Trani's is a 3rd generation restaurant. The food is as good as anywhere you will find in Los Angeles. The decor and location is not what you expect but as soon as you walk in they make you feel welcomed. Marcos the bartender is always smiling and very helpful. He makes a really good margarita too. Pizzas, pastas, and steaks are really good to great. Seafood is excellent! I like the swordfish dinner, blackened, mash potatoes , and asparagus. Calamari-new style is very good.
If there is a wait to sit, go across street to Iron City Pub. Good place to have a drink while you wait.

One of the best sandwiches in the South Bay. My friends from Hawaii, Wisconsin and New York make it a point to eat at Busy Bee's every time they come through.

Just a great place to grab a really good breakfast with the locals and big enough to accommodate large parties. My kids love the biscuit and gravy, I like the Acapulco omelette and my wife likes the Avocado Omelette. This place is a staple in the community and well loved among the locals.

My kids attend the local High School and the kids love this place. The Original pancake house has been around forever and its quite popular, there is a line outside during breakfast hours.

I like this place better than In and Out. My sons thinks different but I think the Habit makes a really good Burger.

Admiral Risty is a throw back from 25 years ago. Great place to get an awesome Surf & Turf, Great wines and drinks, and some nights live music. Older crowd, excellent food.

A really good restaurant for Mexican food, appetizers, wines and cocktails. Really cool decor, good service, good vibe and attracts a lot of the local beach community. Great place to watch a game to celebrating your anniversary. I like the Agave Nectar Chipotle Glazed Salmon, its good!

This place offers some of the freshest fish on the west coast. The shrimp platter is famous! On the weekends, this place is more popular than Disneyland. I'm a local so I only go on a Thursday or Friday before the weekend crowds. Look it up on-line and look at the images. There is so much to describe. There is a reason hundreds of people go there every month.

Excellent place to have a drink right on the cliffs of the pacific ocean, views are amazing. They have a full menu, plenty of beers on tap, great wines and cocktails. The outdoor dining area is great and they have a fireplace and a fire pit so you can enjoy the ocean all night. Many nights they have live music, or a beer garden. There is always something going on at Nelson's.
