UC Café is one of my favourite places! No matter what you are looking for (breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktails, etc.) you will get it there for a good price.

The Münster is a cathedral in the middle of the city which was not bombed during the second world war.
Monday - Saturday there is a beautiful market around the cathedral where local farmers sell their goods (highly recommended!). If you make it there you should eat a "Lange rote" that´s typical for Freiburg! (not for vegetarians) :)
