This is one of the top Thai spots in the Washington D.C. area. It's won a ton of awards. It's nothing fancy, but it's a nice dining scene with great food. I like the papaya salad for an appetizer, pad thai, and any of there curry dishes.

There is a beautiful mall and behind the mall there is an area called 'Pentagon Row' with a few shopping, dinning (Champs Sports Bar, Thaiphoon ) and quick eat (Nandos) options. There is also an open area where friends and children can relax and enjoy the outdoors. During the wintertime, there is an ice rink here.

Sightseeing
This is one of the most beautiful trials in the D.C./MD/VA area. You can bike, rollerblade, running, walk or take a leisurely stroll. Most of the trail you are facing the water. It's very relaxing and a great VA/DC favorite outdoor activity.
The trail starts in Old Town Alexandria VA via Arlington (near the airport, you can actually see the planes land). There is an entrance to the trail in Crystal City (Arlington, VA), it takes you to the George Washington Bridge lopping you around the Lincoln Memorial and if you fee really ambitious you can go all the way down the Thomas Jefferson Memorial towards SW (the waterfront).
