Sightseeing

One of the most dramatic areas of coastline on Anglesey! The lighthouse itself offers amazing views of the sea, with the availability to buy tickets and climb all the way to the top! If you don't mind braving the small roads in the dark, an amazing place to watch the sun set over the water. There is also an RSPB hut which in spring is the perfect place to see nesting birds, including puffins.

Arts & Culture

Part of a collection of other castles, Beaumaris was built as part of Edward 1st campaign to conquer North Wales. Built in around 1300 AD, the castle is rich in Welch history and full of wonderful information to fully explain this. Beaumaris also has an old Gaol, built in 1829 which is now open as a museum that allows visitors to see what life would have been like for prisoners back then, as well as read prison records and explore the cells. Beaumaris town itself is extremely charming, full of independent tea rooms, bakers, art galleries and much more!
