Getting Around
Hi Tracey. St Lucia Golf Club is a 1km walk. I have walked passed there frequently when I go for a walk. The 412 bus is the most frequent (every 10 minutes) transport to the city and the terminus is very close (100m). That is how I normally go to the city. The 412 goes past Toowong railway station so you can transfer to the train if the roads are congested. Ferry and UQ Lakes bus station are further away to walk (1.5km). The ferry is a nice way to see the city. Buses from UQ Lakes use busways rather than roads so are not affected by congestion, are quite frequent, and give quick and direct access to South Bank and Park Road railway station. All public transport uses GoCard for paying and you can buy a GoCard from the newsagent which is only 50m from here. Tim
