This is my husband and my favorite pizza place. The owner is Italian and has ran this place for as long as I can remember. They have great thin crust New York style pizza and other great Italian staples. I love their pizza but they also make a great calzone.

Hyco Lake offers boating and fishing and they have a beach where people can go swim. There is a fee to go, but it's not much. There's also a trail at the recreation entrance that if you turn left right before you get to the main entrance you can go for a scenic nature walk.

This dollar general has most essentials and was just recently renovated. It now include a much larger fresh food section. They do have beer, wine, shelf stable food and frozen food. It gets busy on the weekends though with VIR and lake people so give yourself some time to get in and out of there.
