Very friendly owner who often treat regulars and groups to appetisers.

On Thursday nights, there is Latin music and group dancing. Lots of fun for family and groups who wants to do something together other than shopping.

Kata noi is rarely overcrowded and always clean with sparkling water. My personal favourite. Plus its only 15 minutes ride away. : >

A little further up north, somewhat closer to the airport, Surin beach is my favourite place to go to spend an entire day, lounging under palm trees. Authentic Thai food is available at reasonable price on the beach.
Bring insect repellant and stay until after sunset. Stunning sunset and a little after sunset, hundreds of fireflies fly by the beach and around the northern end of the beach.

Part of nature reserve, Naiyang beach is beautiful at low tide and high tide. At low tide, on the northern end, you will see corals exposed and beautiful electric coloured eels.
