Great Indian Curry and day-use Hot springs. Hoheikyo is our favorite hot springs. The water quality is amazing the view from the bath is fantastic any-time of year. We also like to eat at the restaurant, which is a simple self-service style place for casual dining. You do not have to enter the bath to use the restaurant. We enjoy the India curry with nan bread as well as the soba and Lamb BBQ which they serve.

The Hoheikyo dam is a great place to visit during the summer and Autumn seasons. Closed to the public during the winter. From the parking lot, you will take an electric bus through a long tunnel until you arrive at the dam hidden in the deep mountains. The dramatic views are great for taking photographs and you can also sometimes see rainbows as the water is released from the dam. Be prepared for some crowds during the premium fall viewing season.
