If you are looking for a cooked breakfast on the weekend the sailing club offers breakfast in a beautiful setting and it's just across the road from the pub at the end of Club Lane.

Itchenor has the largest keelboat racing fleet in the UK with 3 different classes, along with junior and adult dinghy fleets. (The largest Mirror fleet as well - nearly 100!). It has a superb location on Chichester Harbour, protected from SW winds and the Club looks towards the S Downs and Goodwood. The race management is excellent and it is blessed with having full access at all states of the tide onto the Harbour with its many miles of shoreline and navigable waterways. A site of special scientific interest, it also has no commercial shipping. The Club is a short sail to the delights of the Solent beyond. The buttery and bar serve delicious, good value home-cooked food and a wide selection of beers and wines. Membership is from diverse backgrounds and ages linked by a love of sailing.

Harbour Masters Office, Public Slipway, Sailing Club, Good food Pub, can also be reached from foot ferry at Bosham Hoe.

Itchenor is a sailing village you can walk/cycle to from Sheepwash. Home of the Itchenor sailing club. You can sit by the water (with an ice cream ?) and watch all the frantic activity of the local sailing fraternity. There is also a foot ferry (bikes and dogs welcome) that takes you across the channel towards Bosham. It's still a lengthy walk to Bosham but well worth it.
