Haymarket is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant offering a juice bar, coffee/tea, and pastries upstairs; and tasty, reasonably priced food (all three meals, daily) in their cozy comfortable cellar. There is interesting art and eclectic antique furniture throughout the space.

It was the first truly good coffee spot in town that's now loaded with 'em, they still make great coffee, tea and juice--and the restaurant downstairs makes affordable delicious veggie food.

It’s local. It’s unique. You can get great local coffee, pastries, tea, smoothies. Downstairs you can get real food made with locally grown ingredients! Great plaice to do some work too, if you are into the café-work scene.

Hot tip: If you ask for the bar menu (available nightly except Saturdays and possibly some holidays), you’ll see that you can eat very well for between $10-14 by ordering smaller plates (but they aren’t so small), or half-portions of some of their best dishes. ”
