"Gainsborough Old Hall is one of the England's best preserved medieval manor house unusually set in the town centre" We've been there at Christmas when they had a craft fair on and it was free to get in although normally a charge to enter. However you can sit outside and have a coffee or ice cream and just soak up the atmosphere
