Great place to watch sunrises. Can also view the natural phemonom Staircase to the moon between March and October. Also night markets every Thursday night from June to October. Use extreme caution if driving on beach as this is where many cars are lost.

Town Beach is a great place to go if you have little kids. There's an enclosed waterpark and playground, there's a cafe and a quiet beach that is usually slightly warmer than cable beach, and a lot calmer (rarely waves) as it's in the bay.
