The most classic bar in SF. Delicious tiki drinks in the basement of the Fairmont hotel. Did we mention it rains IN the bar every half hour or so? A must see, true SF experience :)

One of the classic SF Tiki Bars. It's equal parts cheesy and great. In the bottom of the Fairmont Hotel, they have a floating stage where a live band plays.

Go for an umbrella drink; stay for the awesome 'thunder and lightening' show when the band floats onto the pool. Then, walk down to Chinatown for some great food, wander over to North Beach for Italian pastries and coffee! "Tonga Room features a top-40 band performing from a thatch-covered barge on the lagoon; a dance floor built from the remains of the S.S. Forester, a lumber schooner that once traveled regularly between San Francisco and the South Sea Islands; and periodic light tropical rainstorms, complete with thunder and lightning."

An ultimate San Francisco restaurant. Who doesn't love Tiki bars and drinks with umbrellas. The food is nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere is a blast. Reservations highly recommended if you are hoping to dine.
