This market screams OLD WORLD! Go back in time to get some vegetables. Has a place to eat, too.
If you're staying for the weekend, you really should visit the Historic Soulard Market. The market is one of the oldest farmers markets in the United States that traces back to an open air farmer's market in the area that began in 1779. Soulard Market moved to its present location at 730 Carrol Street in 1838.
Great Farmers Market. Kid friendly. Often has entertainment. Must see in St. Louis
Great place to begin Saturday mornings- bloodies and mini doughnuts are highly recommended!
