The Zecca-Righi funicular is the longer of the two, covering a difference in height of 278 metres; the cableway was built between 1895 and 1897, and includes 7 stops, from the first in the valley in the heart of the historic centre to the upper end of the line that serves as a starting point for visits to the forts and the park of the walls.

Genoa has got several funiculars and public lifts to go up to the hills, this one is the most famous in Genoa but it's normally used by citizens and it is less know by tourists. At the end of the ride you can enjoy a breathtaking view above the city centre.

da righi godrete un panorama ancora piu' ampio della Liguria perché la funicolare risalente ad inizi 800, porta in una zona residenziale collinare. è uno dei punti piu panoramici di genova, e nelle giornate piu limiti potrete vedere da capo mele fino al monte di Portofino. serve sempre il solito biglietto urbano da 1,50, mentre se tornate giu a piedi una sola corsa costa 0,90 €
