If your in the area you have to visit this trail. Fantastic views from the old trail trusses bridge turned into a walkway over the river.

0.7 miles - The Kickapoo Rail Trail is a 6.7 mile multi-purpose, crushed limestone recreational trail from East Urbana to St. Joseph, IL. Parking is available in the northwest corner of the Walmart parking lot.

Trail starting right outside the neighborhood. It's a great place to ride a bike or take a walk.

The Kickapoo Rail Trail is a 24.5-mile trail that follows the former CSX (Conrail prior to CSX) railroad from East Urbana to Kickapoo State Park outside of Danville. It passes through the communities of Mayview, St. Joseph, Ogden, Fithian, and Oakwood. It is open to the public for hiking, biking, and other non-motorized uses.
