This is a gorgeous church. It’s lit up at night, little cafes to sit and people watch in this charming town square during the day.
Possibly the most beautiful Church in town (and seeing the number of beautiful churches Rouen has, this means a lot). A walk around the neigborhood I recommend: pedestrians streets, old shops and great places to eat or have a drink.
Recently renovated, the St Maclou church has regained it former splendor. Whether bather in lights or simply enjoyed during daylight hours, it is certainly worth a visit.

“The Iron and metal works museum! Explore the huge collection of historic metal work inside and equally impressive church. My personal favourite is the lock and key collection... you will never have seen keys so very very complex and intricate.”

“It’s free! (permanent collection anyway) See one of Monet’s “Rouen Cathedral” paintings and other things too. Nice atrium café. ”

“Original pour apprendre l'histoire de Jeanne d'Arc. An original scenography for who may want to learn more about Joan of Arc”

“First, you've got the Church with its unique architecture. Then, the square itself, with the old, typical houses (turned into restaurants). Also don't miss the big cross, which is the exact spot where Jeanne d'Arc was burnt (not exactly cheerful, but a historic place nonetheless).”

“The Cathedral Notre Dame of Rouen is certainly one of the most important monument of Rouen. Build through the centuries, each stone tells us a particular story.”
