Really calm, scenic beach. Nice for snorkeling. There are also hiking trails near this beach

A lovely arch of white sand overlooking waters dotted with yachts. This is a great spot for nature lovers as you might spot nesting turtles on the far corner of the beach and the snorkelling is good. Several walks start from here, including the steep, scenic hike to Shirley Heights for a fabulous view over English Harbour. Scooter snorkelling lets you snorkel with a bit of motorised help and an underwater swim-through course has been installed to make it more fun. Walk round the point and you can explore the Pillars of Hercules, a dramatic rock formation created by the waves. Alternatively, take the path up the headland that leads you to Shirley Heights.

Get your snorkel gear on (rent from Galleon Beach) and swim along the beach and beyond the rocks to Freeman's Bay Beach. Watch for sea turtles, and it's a great workout! Nice restaurants on Galleon beach, watch the sun go down. Take the water taxi from inside the Dockyard.
