Stone Ridge is great for pick your own orchards, and High Falls nearby has some excellent restaurant options. Don’t miss the beautiful historic homes along the drive as well as the farms, you might see cows.
The hamlet of Stone Ridge contains numerous historic stone houses and walkable main street through town. There are a number of restaurants and a few shops. One notable shop is the Applestone Meat Company a butcher that sells its meat through automated vending machines!
This place just does not disappoint. Historic and modern at the same time. Just drive a few miles north on 209 and see for yourself.
This area is known for its gorgeous, historical stone houses. One of my favorite bars/restaurants in the area is located here. (See: Hasbrouck House.) However, this isn't much of a walking town! I wouldn't suggest stopping here unless you'd like to see some beautiful homes and stop at Hasbrouck…
Stoneridge's bucolic and quaint streets are a must to visit. The stunningly well preserved architecture alone is worth it.
