The permanent exhibition of the museum is called "Nature. Man.Culture ”and presents the evolution of man, ecology and the organic world in Moldova. The museum also has a Botanical Garden where people can see various reptiles and exotic birds, animals and fish.”

“The “National Museum of the History of Moldova” was founded in 1983 in the building of the former 1st Chisinau male gymnasium. In front of the building is a monument to the Latin she-wolf with Romulus and Remus. The museum is divided into several parts: Archeology and Ancient History, Medieval History, History of Bessarabia, Modern History, Treasures. The National Museum of the History of Moldova has a collection of approximately 300 thousand items of historical value: archaeological finds, documents, photographs, numismatics, everyday items, decorative and artistic art.”
