Oldest church in Makarska located on the towns main square.

At the central town square. From 1700 year, in baroque stile. Inside is sculpure of st. Klement which is patron saint of city Makarska. There is a baroque Venetian fountain nearby, built in 1775.

Construction of the cathedral is in Baroque style. Cathedral is build in 1700 year. At the entrance to the cathedral from right side of the altar is place where is keep the bones of St. Clement.

Viewed from a distance, St Mark’s Church marks Makarska’s central square, the heart of the town. It is sometimes referred to as Makarska’s cathedral.
