The largest industrial evidence of the Mediterranean, linked to the fishing and conservation of tuna, which has become a museum, offers guided tours and multimedia installations that trace the history of its founders and testify the life of those who worked there. It also houses historical finds, attributable to the battle of the Egadi, the final naval clash of the first Punic war. Non si può conoscere Favignana ed i favignanesi se nn si visita questo meraviglioso museo multisala. Infatti all'interno troverete, proiezioni multimediali, films, mostre ed esposizioni di oggetti, che raccontano la storia dell'isola, a partire dalle guerre puniche, fino alla dinastia della fam. Florio, e dell'industria del tonno.

Non si può soggiornare a Favignana senza visitare lo Stabilimento Florio, tutta la storia e la cultura dell'isola si racchiudono entro quelle mura dove, tra l'altro, è presente il centro di recupero delle tartarughe marine. la visita guidata dura circa 1.5 ore. Consigliatissimo.
