The beach is the main attractions in Woolacombe and to walk down to it from the Bolt Hole you can avoid walking on the main road by following a footpath through the campsite opposite. Check the Google map and follow the pink line.

It is about a 70 minute drive over the top of Exmoor National Park to reach the glorious sandy surfing beach of Woolacombe in North Devon. We often just go there for the day. There are plenty of places there to hire boards and wetsuits if you don’t have any.
