Out of the ordinary meals prepared by an actual chef. Great atmosphere, and additional shopping. Only open a few days a week. Check their website.

Quirky, reasonable, farm to table little restaurant off the beaten path. Eggs Benedict includes fresh fruit and mixed green salad for only $10. Homemade desserts, even the cinnamon, black pepper, and basil ice cream. Beer and Wine. Closed MONDAY- WEDNESDAY. Breakfast only on Saturdays and Sundays.

This locally owned, farm-to-table restaurant is located behind Country Accents Antiques store on Highway 16. It's out of the way location provides a unique, at-home atmosphere that only locals know about. The chef cooks up the best meals in the area and I personally love his chicken fried steak (lunch/dinner) and his Pipe Creek Plate (breakfast). On weekends, be sure to book a reservation because they are often booked solid, especially when there's live music in the garden.

Pipe Creek (about 10 miles outside of Bandera) Farm fresh acquired ingredients for homemade entrees that rival any 5* big city dining! Chef and owner Aaron also has the best homemade basil and cracked peppercorn ice cream - you just have to try it - but you must get there early because his batches sometimes run out!
