History Museum
“Museo Sugbo is located in the former Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC). It was once called “Carcel de Cebu”, the provincial jail of Cebu. It is now the Cebu Provincial Museum. Cebu MuseumThe Museo was designed by Domingo de Escondrillas in in 1869 (he used to be the only architect in Cebu that time). It was originally proposed to be the main prison for the Visayan District because of its somewhat considerable size when it was constructed. The construction started in 1871. It was believed that the coral blocks from the demolished Parian Church were used to build parts of the gaol. Fees in the Museo Adult: Filipinos: Php 30.00 Foreigners: Php 75.00 Students: Filipinos: Php 10.00 Foreigners: Php 50.00 Senior Citizen: Php 10.00”

“Cebu is not only known for almost a hundred of sprouting tourist destinations from north to south but also for its unique and delicious food. As you stroll around Cebu, one wouldn’t have the complete experience without visiting Larsian sa Fuente. It is known as one of the to-go BBQ places from people here in Cebu, Balikbayan, and often the most recommended for first-timers and tourists in Cebu. ”

“Located in Acacia Street in Kamputhaw, House of Lechon specializes in Carcar-style lechon. As you may probably know, the regional differences in the Philippines encompass even our cuisine—and even at the province level, each city or municipality has a different version of local dishes. If you have been to Carcar, you will see lechon being sold in the markets, where vendors chop the freshly-prepared roast and put on some of the drippings before presenting it to you. Now you don't have to go to Carcar to taste this version of lechon.”

“The Pyramid is a sophisticated bistro at the Cebu IT Park inspired by the great architectural design of Chinese-American architect, I.M. Pei. The restaurant’s facade mimics the grand entrance of the Louvre in France. It’s a wine and dine restaurant and a lifestyle destination that offers so much more than their eclectic, international menu. Read our full feature here.”

Natural Feature
“At 1,013 meters above sea level, Osmeña Peak is Cebu’s highest. It is one of several spire-like formations comprising the Mantalongon Mountain Range in Dalaguete — perhaps the easiest, too. A day hike to Osmeña Peak will treat you to an amazing jagged skyline view, a refreshing sight of the shore, and even the far-off islands of Negros and Bohol.”
