Climb to the top of Mauao to get a beautiful view of the surrounding beach or for the less fit, walk around Mauao. Then enjoy an afternoon of swimming/ surfing followed by a soak in the Mount Maunganui hot pools. Great restaurants and tourist shops. Only 25 minutes to drive to this beautiful spot from our unit.

A must see if you haven’t been to Tauranga before. Climb the mount, have a Copenhagen ice cream cone, enjoy a hot pool, stay for dinner. So much fun to be had.
