You'll prepare 4 different Cretan family’s recipes in an outdoor cooking space. Our ingredients are pure and natural, with most sourced directly from our family farm. You'll learn cooking techniques from mama Stella, our specialist in traditional Cretan cuisine. All the equipment and your personal apron will be provided by us. It's a 100% hands-on cooking experience! Local homemade refreshments and water will provided, too. In the end of our experience, you will enjoy your own creations with some local wine. We start the day sampling the traditional Cretan breakfast* in a local shop crafting traditional pastries for four generations. Once in the alleys of the old town, we experience the most traditional backstreet culinary spots, visit different districts, such as the Turkish, Venetian, Christian, and Jewish ones, stop in unique hidden corners and gardens, and have interesting conversations with local artisans skilled in the arts of ceramics, leather, and knife crafting. We will taste delicious local tapas, known as mezedes, and learn about the impact that centuries​ have had on the Cretan diet. *Note: if the experience is in the afternoon we replace the breakfast​ with an ice cream :-) Other things to note I am flexible, skilled with kids, being a mom myself. Το ελαιόλαδο που θα χρησιμοποιήσουμε συλλέγεται και προετοιμάζεται από εμένα και την οικογένειά μου, χωρίς καμία χρήση εντομοκτόνων και άλλων χημικών παρασκευασμάτων! Φυσικά, στο τέλος θα πάρετε το σαπούνι - το οποίο φτιάξατε με τα χέρια σας - που θα είναι έτοιμο την επόμενη μέρα, ως αναμνηστικό για να θυμάστε αυτή τη μοναδική εμπειρία καθώς κάνετε το ντους σας !!! Pick up in Chania centro o vicino al vostro hotel. Il percorso sara' personalizzato in base alle vostre preferenze, capacita' e gusti. La prima tappa a Meskla, lì faremo una breve passeggiata nella GOLA DI SARAKINA, questa bellissima gola combina l'escursionismo nella natura con l'alpinismo; di breve lunghezza e facile da percorrere, è attraversata dal fiume Knopotamos ed è definita dalla sua ricca vegetazione e dai piccoli laghi che si creano vicino alle rocce. Successivamente ci recheremo al villaggio di Zourva a 572 m di altezza ai piedi delle Montagne Bianche. Gli abitanti del villaggio salvaguardano la cultura e l'ospitalità cretesi in modo che rimangano intatte e inalterate. Faremo una breve pausa per un pasto leggero in taverna prima di continuare la nostra passeggiata in nella foresta di pini sovrastante la gola di Tromarisa e la spettacolare vista verso il nord e il mare. Gradualmente scenderemo verso il villaggio di Theriso , fermandoci in un caseificio tradizionale aperto dal 1928! Attraverseremo la bellissima gola di Theriso, lunga 6 km, accompagna il fiume alberato ed è circondata dal verde di castagni e querce. Naturalmente la gola è anche una splendida passeggiata nell'aria pulita di montagna, ed è popolare per gli scalatori e gli escursionisti. Rientro accompagnato.

At our farm, every child and adult will get the chance of becoming a stock breeder and a cheese maker for a day! You'll meet all the domestic animals of our farm, our goats, sheep, dogs, cats, hens and geese, partridges as well as our colorful peacocks. You could feed, pet and take photos with them. Thereafter, you could watch and take part in the two distinct ways of milking goats and sheep: the traditional way, using only the hands, as well as the modern way of milking. You will be informed on how to breed and care for our animals, their usefulness and all the products, which we're able to produce, using their milk. Next stop is our family cheese cottage, where you'll get useful information on the production of traditional Cretan cheeses and desserts, which we produce using the milk from our farm, while at the same time, together we will make one of them. Upon fulfilling this experience, a special treat awaits you outside of our cheese cottage. You taste our Feta, the Tiromalama-a local goat's cheese-, our handmade puddings made from sheep and goat milk. Traditional cretan raki and wine couldn't be missing! Continuing, our next stop is a mountainous village, where we will enjoy the famous raki (alcoholic drink originating in Crete) and rakomelo. From this amazing route we cannot miss the sea side village Sfakia and our final stop which is a must is the village next to Crete's most beautiful lake! Of yourse you will taste amazing grilled meat, Cretan sausages, Cretan cheese,tomatoes and cucumbers as this drive will take you from the North to the South of the island!

Taking under consideration the ideal location of the vineyards, after the harvest, we will pay a visit to Juchtas Mountain that is considered to be the mythical tomb of Zeus, only 10 minutes away by car! At mount Juchtas a very important royal temple of the Minoan period was unearthed, that gave information about the structure of the temples as well as religion during this period. A must see, astonishing view from the top of the mount Juchtas. At the end of the day, you will taste local flavours right by our vineyard.

every day we organize safari with quad . Our Adventure Starts from the small village of Karteros, where we will have a 25 minute breafing on safety and instructions on operating ATVs. Then we will ride up the mountains of Karteros and visit the uncharted Labyrinth cave, (Quad) from where we will continue our way past Prasa village to Skalani, riding through vineyards and olive groves. Our next stop will be in the forest near the church of St.Irene, where we will visit the old church and enjoy the countryside. We will continue to the Mt. Juktas Ecological Park in Archanes, an extrodinary archeological site of Fourni where we will see the Municipal Contemporary Theater and enjoy the panoramic views. We’ll have lunch at an Greek tavern. After we will continue our route and explore the Gorge of Karteros . All the way through our journey we will have the opportunity to take photos at some of Crete’s most amazing scenery, and our guide will share information about each location we visit.
