Tucked into the woods, this suite is perfect for a quick island getaway, a solo creative retreat, or a weekend with friends. Enjoy a midday walk to the neighboring Bloedel Reserve (5min walk), sink into a good book - a glass of wine in hand - or pop in your car to grab dinner in Winslow or a paddle in Manzanita. Follow the gravel driveway, enjoy the surrounding ferns & ancient cedars as you arrive, & access your guest suite/sanctuary via a private entrance on the side of the house. WELCOME.
This historic cabin is located right on the beach, just a few feet from the high tide mark. It's the only cabin immediately on the beach for miles either direction; all other houses are above at street level. Just 90 minutes from downtown Seattle via the Seattle / Bainbridge Island ferry.
Enjoy a getaway to The Cabin in Suquamish, a renovated 820sf log cabin with vintage-inspired touches such as push-button light switches, furniture and artwork. Relax with a beverage on the back deck, which has a “realtor’s view” of the Sound, or in the front garden. Cabin has WiFi and a vintage-looking record player and a few records, but no TV. No smoking/vaping on premises. Suquamish is a ferry ride away from Seattle so is best suited if you have a vehicle.
