Here you can book the Ferry Across the Mersey Trip. It runs frequently. Its not expensive and you can sit and listen to the story of Liverpool whilst having a coffee or drink. Sit on the top deck and look out onto the Mersey. Very relaxing and you can enjoy the sound of Gerry and Pacemakers as the boat comes back into dock! This is a must for any visitor

Great place to walk around and take amazing photos of the waterfront, see the Beatles statues and often free festivals in the summer time. My favourite place to watch the sun set :)
