“The Collection is an under visited gem in Lincoln and comprises of an archeology museum and the Usher Gallery. The museum is interesting and entertaining and aside from special exhibitions, it's free! What's not to like!? (The Stokes cafe attached is also very good) The Usher Gallery is also delightful and in my view is perfectly scaled for a art gallery (It's easy to hit saturation point in larger galleries in my opinion) and makes for an ideal visit on a rainy (or sunny) day.”

“Visit the majestic medieval Lincoln Cathedral just 19 miles away set with its own Castle on site too. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary and claimed to be the tallest building in the world for 238 years until the great pyramid of Giza. The grounds beginning to be built in 1072, for hundreds of years the Cathedral held one of the four remaining copies of the original Magna Carta which is now securely displayed in Lincoln Castle.”
