St Bartholomew the Great is the oldest church in London, founded in 1123 as an Augustinian monastery.
My favourite church in London, its on the doorstep. Amazing for Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, its one of the oldest surviving churches in London surviving the great fire. Its a must see.
Founded in 1123, this is one of London's oldest churches. In fact I've heard that this IS the oldest church in central London. The sheer age and beauty of the building are definitely worth a visit.
The oldest surviving church in London. Also scene of numerous films, not least Three Weddings and a Funeral. Give my regards to Rev Martin Dudley if you see him, we both have served as Masters for a City livery company. The church also plays a key role in my family history, my gt gt grandfather studies as a teacher there in the 1830s.
