Golden Bay is made up of a soft sandy beach that backs on to towering cliffs in the north of Malta. This beach is known for it's red sand and is a lovely beach to enjoy. It's not as large as Mellieha, nor as safe for kids but It's close to Bugibba and there's a couple of restaurants / bars on the beach. Nice day out!

This is undoubtedly one of the most popular sandy beaches on the whole island of Malta, not only because of its extension but also because it is fully equipped for tourists. It is a good place to spend all day with your family, your friends or your partner! Tip: On the weekends is very crowded, even if there is space to put the towel, you´ll struggle to come back home by bus/taxi. Better another day of the week 😊
