Although overshadowed in popularity by the Sky Garden, the fact not so many people visit Crossrail Roof Gardens is actually a blessing as there is no need to book in advance and whilst the views aren’t as spectacular, it is a jarring and joyous juxtaposition of nature against the sleek sky-scrapers of Canary Wharf.

Visit the Roof Garden - The Crossrail Place Roof Garden is part of the Canary Wharf Crossrail station, a free public indoor oasis where the plants are arranged according to which hemisphere they're from. Also you can find there quite a few good restaurants and coffee shops.

The garden is a representation of the history and the geography of Canary Wharf. It draws on the district’s heritage from when it was a trading hub and a port. Many of the plants installed in the gardens are native to the countries that were visited by the ships of the West India Dock Company many decades ago.
