“A short walk from our rental, this is a classic Mexican restaurant. Need nachos or tacos or a burrito? This is a local hot spot. We usually grab and go, but there is plenty of space to dine on site. ”

“Kittery Point kitteryme.gov/fort-foster-park 4.7 mi (12 mins) A historic fort (active 1901-1946) on the southwest tip of Gerrish Island in Kittery Point. The 88-acre park includes swimming beaches and trails, and cross-country skiing in the winter. Without a boat you can’t get any closer to the Wood Island Life Saving station and Whaleback Light than you can see from the pier at Fort Foster. On a clear day you can almost touch the Isles of Shoals.”
