Most car rentals are located at nearby Laguardia Airport but this one is a little closer just off the 36th Ave subway stop.

Not the closest to us, but a quick cab or bus ride to get a rental car should you need it. (Honestly public transport gets you in and out NYC so easily, unless you're planning on going in New Jersey somewhere in the far suburbs, there are tons of options).
