Heckington is a lively, busy village with many fine buildings and attractions including the 14th Century Parish Church of St Andrew’s, Heckington Railway Museum and a variety of local shops, pubs and cafes. Heckington Windmill is the only eight-sailed tower windmill still standing in the United Kingdom with its sails intact and is located between Sleaford and Boston in Lincolnshire There are also a number of village walks available which take you around the historic village & area and a village trail leaflet available at the windmill.
