Olana State Historic Site is a must see. 250 acres of scenic land, beautiful views all around, hiking trails (great place to bring a pup), museum and just a magnificent park not to be missed. Olana House built on a hilltop with a spectacular view overlooking the Hudson River south of Hudson City. Designed by the famous painter Frederic E. Church ( Hudson River School). Visit even when it is closed, for the view. Nice place for a picnic.
