Hodge Close Quarry and Cathedral Cavern This is a pleasant and varied trail taking in a mix of sights and terrains as you make your way round. This includes views of Hodge Close Quarry, winding countryside trails, and a detour to Cathedral Cavern which is a very interesting place to visit. Take care on the rougher sections of this trail, appropriate footwear is advised. Take care along the road sections and road crossings on the trail.

Carefull sightseeing! Basically a big hole in the ground! The entire area is interesting. If you walk back towards Little Langdale and turn right at Slater's Bridge you will find a fantastic cave.
