It's free to go up in the tower, spectacular views of the city and see a really neat, giganitc satellite map of the whole city.

Dine outside next to the small sculpture garden, then take the elevator to the observation tower/museum gift show for free amazing views of Golden Gate Park and glimpses of the city.
