La Goutte d'Or Patisserie

In a neighborhood with few pâtisseries, chef Yann Menguy draws crowds to his new boutique coffee shop. Customers sit within eyeshot of the atelier where their remarkable pastries are prepared daily. I get the delicious goutte d’or, a delicious round pastry made with honey and banana and topped with a honeycomb coating. Lots of people pick up a pastry-to-go here, but I’d say stick around and pair it with the excellent coffee from neighborhood roaster Café Lomi.
