I love the walk along the coast from Meelup Beach to Castle Rock. Then you can climb up the hill to the lookout for a great view across Geographe Bay. You can find local wildflowers and orchids along the walk in Spring. Whales come in close to shore as they round the cape.

There are some lovely walks to take along good paths from this beach; either back towards Dunsborough or towards Point Piquet.

Meelup is surrounded by beautiful natural bush land – take one of the coastal walk trails that wind through Meelup Park. The bushwalking is easy going and suitable for families. You’ll be rewarded with amazing views over the ocean and colourful wildflowers during spring. In late winter and spring whales are often spotted on their migration along the coast.
