Now known as Ranger Red's Zoo and Conservation Park, Sanctuary Drive Pinjarra. It's home to over 100 native and exotic animal species and specializes in being a hands-on zoo.

Feed the animals or hold a snake (if you dare) at Peel Zoo a small zoo located near Pinjarra. This is located approximately 30 mins from the property so we recommend combining with other attractions nearby if the kids have extra energy. Amaze Miniature Park is on route with a hedge maze, model buildings and mini golf. There is a Decadent Cs nearby for chocolate, coffee and cake that also has a small park for the kids. Ravenswood Hotel is also on the way and has pub food, a small playground and lovely views of the River. If you want to venture further past Peel Zoo, Pinjarra town is a 5 minutes drive and has a large park for the kids by the river. There is also a suspension bridge along the river. Jarra Infusion cafe is kid friendly with great coffee. The Pinjarra Bakery is also famous for its pies (although we think Miami Bakery near us is just as good!).

Peel Zoo is a boutique, hands-on zoo, in a lush setting on the banks of the Murray River. What makes Peel Zoo really unique is the ‘hands-on experience’ you get here. Hand feed the animals, hold a snake, pat a kangaroo, tickle a ferret… There are well over 100 species of birds and animals that will capture your imagination: koalas, wombats, dingoes, exotic birds, reptiles, spotted quolls, possums, owls… The huge walk-through aviary and Tasmanian Devils are star attractions. Bring a hamper and take advantage of our FREE BBQ facilities. The Zoo is so tranquil, it’s actually therapeutic.
