A local secret. Sculpture by the Lakes is a must for all garden lovers. A place to relax, enjoy great food, connect with nature and find stillness. This is my favourite place to visit locally.

Nestled in 26 acres of Dorset's glorious countryside lies Sculpture by the Lakes, an oasis for art lovers and collectors alike, created by renowned sculptor Simon Gudgeon. Simon's vision was to create an environment for enthusiasts that blends nature's beauty with inspiring works of art free from the constraints of enclosed spaces of a traditional gallery. The sculpture park has been carefully landscaped and curated to ensure each piece is positioned to enhance its aesthetic quality as well as the visual surroundings. Due to deep and fast flowing water, no dogs or children under the age of 14 are allowed.

A lovely place to visit, see the sculptures, visit the cafe and attend additional events. See prices and opening times on website. No very young children or dogs.
