In Nubia's salt mills there is still one of the finest mills in Trapani. You will be able to visit its interior and a guide explains how it works. Adjacent to the mill a trattoria to enjoy typical local dishes in a suggestive location

The salt pans are one of the most famous points of interest in Trapani. The immense land of extraction extends for 1000 hectares. Furthermore, for many years a Natural reserve has been established, managed by the WWF, to protect the territory as an irreplaceable stopping place in the migration of 229 bird species. Inside the area it is possible to visit the storage tanks, the traditional windmills and the Salt Museum. A guided tour with WWF operators is also available upon reservation. We’d recommend visiting during the sunset, when the landscape will be colored by the flight of the pink flamingos flocks that inhabit the area.

Al tramonto si può ammirare il sole che crea dei meravigliosi colori sulle vasche di sale

Consigliato durante le ore del tramonto cosi da poter ammirare le sfumature di colori che si riflettono sulle vasche del sale.

Credo che ci sia il più bel tramonto della Sicilia. Da non perdere anche la cena alla Trattoria del sale. Luoghi davvero incantevoli!
