This is a great place to visit. There is a great interactive exhibit. There is a theater with complete account of the battle for our history buffs. Also a museum that gives you an interactive experience of how the battle happened and the effect it had on the war and the local people. There is also a hiking trail of the battlefield.

This is a revolutionary war battle site, the battle of Kings Mountain was the turning point of the revolutionary war. The Kings Mountain State park is located on the same road.

Preceding the Battle of Cowpens, this battle took place October 7, 1780 and raised patriot morale greatly with the defeat and turning back of the British commander, Charles Cornwallis. Informative hiking trail (paved), visitors center, informative film, and gift shop.
