St James beach is well known for its colourful Victorian-style bathing boxes, tidal pool and rock pools, which are popular with children. Danger Beach, also in St James, is a well-known surf spot.

This train station will take you on a direct line into Cape Town in 35-40 minutes. This oceanfront train ride is beautiful and an excellent way to connect with Cape Town culture. A general rule is only to travel whilst the sun is still up, and be mindful of your personal belongings!
