No visit to the region is complete without a visit to this beautiful beach. Located near Dunsborough, Meelup is also protected by Geographe Bay and its serene waters attract many visitors. The beach provides the perfect setting for a family picnic with plenty of shade in the form of beautiful native trees. Facilities include excellent public change rooms, toilets and showers. There is also a coastal track which winds its way along the coast, allowing an exquisite view of the bay from a multitude of different vantage points.

One of the very best beaches anywhere in Australia. There is also a lovely nature walk.

Meelup is the perfect family beach with a calmer bay that is easily enjoyed by everyone and spots to sit in the shade under trees on the grassed area leading up to the sandy beach. Barbeque facilities are found near the parking lot that can be enjoyed by the public.

Although I love Cowaramup bay, if its a bit windy there Meelup is the place to head to. Great cafe and often in the summer there's a shave ice van .

The beach provides the perfect setting for a family picnic with plenty of shade in the form of beautiful native trees. During summer you can hire standup paddle boards and kayaks on the beach, which makes for a great way to spend an hour or two. Facilities include excellent public change rooms, toilets and showers.
