Eckley Miner's Village was a bursting center of activity from the mid 1800's to the mid 1900's. The central part of the village consists of museum, two churches, a sports club building, a company store, and several prominent houses.
Eckley Miners' Village in eastern Pennsylvania is an anthracite coal mining patch town located near Hazleton, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Since 1970, Eckley has been owned and operated as a museum by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission
